Teacher Training Policies:
*Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have been practicing yoga for at least 6 months.
*Applicants are required to submit a completed Teacher Training application along with a $500 non-refundable deposit. Deposit can be made by cash, check, or credit card. Upon acceptance, the remaining balance may be paid in full or the student may choose to use a payment plan.
*Payment plan is available with monthly payments charged on the 15th of the month. Each payment is one fifth of the tuition balance after the $500 deposit.
*The deposit and the training are non-refundable. If applicants are not accepted into the program for any reason, the $500 deposit will be refunded. Dennis Port Yoga reserves the right to ask any student to leave the program if their behavior is inappropriate or unethical. Under such circumstances, tuition will not be refunded.
*Attendance/Make-Up Policy: The expectation is that students will attend and participate in all training hours. Make-up hours/assignments will be given at the discretion of the faculty and participant may incur additional costs for make-up hours.
Teacher Training Agreements:
*I understand that in order to receive a Certificate of Completion, I must attend and actively participate in all the required class hours and capably demonstrate an understanding of the material in the final written exam and practicum. I understand that acceptance Dennis Port Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training does not guarantee certification.
*I understand that Dennis Port Yoga reserves the right to ask me to leave the program if my behavior is inappropriate or unethical. Under such circumstances I understand I will not be refunded my tuition.
*I understand that the $500 deposit for the training is non-refundable and non-transferable. I understand that if I am not accepted into the program, I will be refunded my $500 deposit. I understand that I am still responsible for full payment of tuition, even if I withdraw from the program for any reason.
I have read and acknowledge the Teacher Training Policies above and submit my application accepting these terms. Further, I understand Dennis Port Yoga will occasionally photograph or video trainings and may use whole or composite images, without prior approval from me, in newsletters, promotions, manuals or books or any other lawful purposes as determined by Dennis Port Yoga. I also understand that footage or quotations from me, both written or verbal, may be used in the publicity of trainings and all purposes described above.
Payment Agreement:
FOR VALUE RECEIVED, the undersigned hereby promises to pay to the order of Dennis Port Yoga the sum of $2995 for enrollments prior to 7/1, or $3495 for enrollments after 7/1 according to the payment schedule below. A deposit of $500 is due along with this application. If this Note is not paid when due or if a default occurs, the undersigned promises to pay all costs of enforcement and collection, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees, regardless of whether such enforcement or collection includes the filing of a lawsuit, together with interest on the unpaid sum at the then applicable rate. The undersigned waives diligence, prevention, protest and demand and also notice of protest, demand, non-payment and dishonor of this Note.
Upon clicking submit, Dennis Port Yoga will review your application and get back to you within 48 hours. Once accepted into the training, we will send you a link to pay your $500 non-refundable deposit. Your application is not complete nor will your enrollment be complete without this deposit.
